Soprano Gabriella Giangreco earned her Master of Music degree from Indiana University and her Bachelor of Music degree from the Manhattan School of Music.

 

She has brought to life a wide range of operatic roles, including the title role in Lakmé with Amici Opera, Frasquita in Carmen with both Lighthouse Opera Company and New Jersey Lyric Opera, and the Queen of the Night in Die Zauberflöte with Bloomington Chamber Opera. At Indiana University Opera Theater, she appeared as Barbarina in Le Nozze di Figaro and as a Street Singer in Bernstein’s Mass, and she portrayed Adele in Die Fledermaus with Lyric Opera Studio Weimar.

In 2022, Ms. Giangreco was honored with an Encouragement Award from the Metropolitan Opera National Council in the

St. Louis District. 

Her musical theater credits include Mary Quite Contrary in Babes in Toyland, Woman 3 in A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder, and Johanna in Sweeney Todd.

Beyond the stage, she has cultivated extensive choral experience, performing with acclaimed ensembles such as The Dessoff Choirs, The Yuletide Carolers, Oratorio Society of New York, The National Children’s Chorus, and the Mostly Mozart Festival.

She is currently based in New York City.
